About Me

Hi, I’m Erica, founder of Erica’s Precision Profits — a bookkeeping practice built from real-life experience, resilience, and a genuine passion for helping small business owners gain financial clarity and peace of mind.

My journey started early. I became a mom at 18 while still a senior in high school. Those years taught me more about responsibility, perseverance, and time management than any textbook could. I worked in fast-food, climbing from entry-level to general management — leading teams, managing budgets, and learning how the numbers drive every decision.

While working 97 hours every two weeks and raising my son, I went back to school to earn my Associate’s Degree in Business Management. That experience shaped my work ethic and taught me the power of discipline and persistence.

From there, I transitioned into the healthcare field, working in billing for physical and occupational therapy services, then moving into home medical equipment, where I’m now part of the management team. Along the way, I also managed a bar and worked as an Accounts Payable Specialist for a construction company — experiences that gave me a firsthand look at how both large corporations and small businesses operate.

After a winter layoff and navigating life as a Type II diabetic, I realized I needed stability and fulfillment — and that’s what led me back to the medical field. But as my son grew up and built his own life, I decided it was time to invest in mine. At 40, I went back to school full-time, earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting while still working full-time and bartending part-time.

That leap changed everything. I saw clearly that small business owners — people who pour their hearts into their work — often struggle with the financial side of things. They need guidance, not judgment; clarity, not chaos.

That’s why I started Erica’s Precision Profits:
to help business owners understand their numbers, make confident decisions, and free up time to focus on their families and passions — not their books.

As a QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor, I combine accuracy, transparency, and simplicity to make bookkeeping feel manageable and empowering. My approach is hands-on and personal — every client gets the same level of care and precision I’ve brought to every role throughout my career.
